Please note that no prior experience is needed for the park attendant positions, as we will provide the training for these roles. However, we do recommend applicants possess a modest level of fitness since working on the waterpark will be somewhat physically demanding.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Patrolling and observing the park and beach to ensure appropriate use by patrons, enforcing beach/park regulations, and responding to emergency situations.
Work is performed independently in accordance with the established procedures, and is subject to review through visual observation and inspection by supervisor/manager.
Be alert or prevent accidents (risk management).
Respond quickly, intelligently, decisively and in accordance with established emergency and management procedures.
Maintain a responsible, cordial and friendly attitude at all times.
Assist with monitoring the facility and the conduct of patrons.
Administer first aid and CPR as required.
Perform general cleaning/maintenance within the park as assigned by the supervisor/manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of the supervisor/manager, this position involves responsibility for maintaining orderly behaviour on the part of swimmers at X2O Adventures water Park, protecting swimmers from injury or loss of life by drowning, and for rescuing those who might be in distress.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or higher is preferred; experience as a life guard but not required.
EXPERIENCE: Specialized work in the enforcement, regulations and the protection of life at a beach. Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors for extended periods of time under adverse weather conditions. Must have skills in open-water swimming, water rescue, accident prevention techniques, and water safety procedures.Must be at least 18 years of age.
CERTIFICATIONS: Life Guard training, First Aid, CPR.
